Growth, Market Access and Investment Readiness

Growth, Market Access and Investment Readiness

Clearer growth, markets and investment readiness

This service connects three decisions: how to reach the right customers, when to enter a new market and what to prepare before investment discussions. We start with available evidence, identify gaps and develop experiments and outputs that support your next decision.

Growth, Market Access and Investment Readiness
Scope, dates and outputs are defined when we review your needs.

What we work towards

01

A testable growth plan

Hypotheses, experiments, channels and measures tied to your business priorities.

02

A market-entry roadmap

Market, customer and competitor assessment, an entry approach and a first 90-day plan.

03

An investment-readiness pack

A pitch deck, financial model, data-room structure and a specific gap checklist.

Areas of work

01

Growth and sales

We follow the customer journey from discovery to purchase and repeat use. We review the value proposition, pricing, channels and sales process to identify the most useful growth experiments.

  • Baseline sales, conversion and retention using available evidence.
  • Prioritised experiments with an owner, review date and measure.
  • Decisions to expand, adapt or stop each experiment based on results.
02

Market entry

We compare candidate markets through demand, customer fit, competition, channels and operational capacity. The output connects the entry approach, localisation needs, potential partners and a first 90-day action plan.

  • A defined segment, offer and route to market before major spending.
  • A partner and distribution opportunity map with validation steps.
  • Decision points before moving from a pilot to wider expansion.
03

Investment readiness

We connect the venture story with evidence and financial assumptions: problem, market, solution, revenue model, traction and use of funds. We organise discussion materials and identify missing information.

  • A coherent pitch deck and presentation practice.
  • A financial model with explicit assumptions and scenarios.
  • A structured data room and due-diligence readiness checklist.

This service prepares the business for discussions. Investment decisions remain independent and funding is not guaranteed.

Who this pathway supports

  • Projects that have tested a product or service and want better customer access.
  • Business owners who need to prioritise growth rather than increase spending without measurement.
  • Teams preparing for partnership or funding discussions.
  • Businesses exploring a new market or distribution channel.

Details before you start

Market access

This area focuses on the most relevant customer, the problem they will pay to solve and the value that differentiates the offer. We review messages, communication and sales channels and the customer journey, then identify limited experiments before expanding expenditure.

Work may cover customer segment comparisons, value proposition tests, a sales journey review or distribution partnerships. Export discussions begin with product readiness, operating capacity and the target market, followed by identifying areas requiring specialist input.

Investment readiness

Readiness begins with a clear business, rather than attractive slides alone. We examine the problem, customer, solution, revenue model, costs, assumptions and available usage or sales evidence. We then organise the founder’s account of the project, its needs and the next step it seeks to resource.

The proposed work can include a pitch structure, information gaps, relevant metrics and a clearer link between resource use and intended outcomes. Investment decisions remain independent; introductions and meetings depend on the programme and available opportunities.

Possible agreed outputs
  • A readiness summary, gaps and priorities.
  • Customer segments, channels and messages to test.
  • An experiment plan with measures and agreed review points.
  • A pitch outline and supporting information checklist.
  • Next steps linked to results rather than activity volume.
How we work together

We begin with your project overview, stage and main challenge. We then clarify scope, available information, outputs and responsibilities. During delivery we review experiments and measures and adjust priorities according to learning. At the end we summarise what to continue, change or test next.

What to prepare

Bring a short business description, target customer, work already tested and the main growth obstacle. If sales, usage or cost figures exist, describe what information is available; there is no need to send confidential material or customer records in an introductory message.

Finding the right Oricon Venture pathway

A case may begin in the Business Clinic for diagnosis or in Business Accelerators when the project is ready for growth work. Training may support team capability needs. Fit, dates, format and support scope are clarified when reviewing your request.
