Business Incubator

Business Incubator

From an idea to a market test

The Business Incubator helps early founders test the problem and customer need before committing more resources. Its standard 12-week design moves from discovery to a business model, minimum viable product and launch plan. Each cohort has its own announced requirements and schedule.

Scope, dates and outputs are defined when we review your needs.

What we work towards

01

Problem validation

Interviews and tests examine customer needs, solution value and core assumptions.

02

Business model and MVP

A view of revenue, customers and costs, plus an MVP or prototype scope that can be tested.

03

A launch plan

Marketing, finance and market-entry priorities with practical first 90-day actions.

Areas of support

The standard incubator design spans 12 weeks, with reviews and assignments linked to the venture. Cohort criteria, dates and participation arrangements are announced separately.

  1. Define the problem and customer.
  2. Customer interviews and assumption evidence.
  3. Validate the value proposition.
  4. Map the market and competitors.
  5. Build revenue and cost logic.
  6. Define MVP scope.
  7. Build and test a prototype.
  8. Prepare the go-to-market plan.
  9. Develop sales tools and pipeline.
  10. Plan operations and team roles.
  11. Develop financial forecasts.
  12. Present the launch and next-90-day plan.

Completion reviews connect to learning evidence, business model, MVP and market, finance and implementation plans, together with cohort participation requirements.

Programme stages

Do I need a registered company?
No. Some pathways support ideas and early ventures, while acceleration and growth services need a product, activity or operational information to review. Fit is assessed during screening.
How are fees and dates agreed?
A proposal defines services, deliverables, duration, sessions, responsibilities, fees, currency and participation terms before contracting. Details vary with scope, program and market.
What should I prepare?
A short description of the project, customer and stage, what you have tested, your three main challenges and your next objective. Describe available information without sending confidential records in the initial request.
What happens after a program?
Completion connects to deliverables and reviews. A next-90-day plan identifies priorities, and follow-on support or another service can be discussed according to need and agreement.

Details before you start

How do I choose the right pathway?
Describe your project, stage, main challenge and objective. We review the request, discuss the need and propose a pathway, scope, deliverables and next steps.
Do you guarantee funding or sales?
No. We help improve readiness, decisions, information and experiments. Investment decisions and market response remain independent.
Does Oricon take ownership in my business?
Program participation does not automatically transfer ownership of an idea or venture. Any equity, shared ownership or co-building arrangement requires a separate explicit agreement.
